Painting that spent 10 months!!!

20 November 2013

Detailed artwork like this takes a lot of time to complete , and an American artist Joe Fenton took it to a whole new level when he decided to dedicate his life to a 10-month single image that has very intricate detail .

Most people will probably just give up after a few days , but Joe showed enough confidence and patience to finish it .

" It took courage to start it because previously I had never done it this size , " he told Modern Met .

" As you can imagine , you have to invest a lot of your time to complete something like this . I just have to focus on penegerjaannya process and are confident that it will succeed ! "

Joe Fenton created all the elements on a smaller scale than usual , like a giant puzzle by tracing all the pictures on a large sheet of paper .

Although he was not a religious man , for this project he wanted to include religious references such as Ganesha character , a grinning Buddha , or a faint crucifix adorning a rooftop in the distance .He finished it all off with acrylic and paint
